The manager has an inflexible resource, which is time. If lost, it cannot be recovered. All work must be planned and carried out precisely and consistently. It is the manager who must decide WHAT will be done, WHO will do it, HOW it will be done, WHEN, WHERE and WHY.
MBS # 2 BASIC CHECK LIST

Set clear and specific short, mid-term and long-term objectives.

Develop the strategies required to accomplish those objectives.

Devise tactical plans for each office or department within the company.

Develop operational programs to comply with the tactical plans,
by setting priorities.

Develop budget systems at every level within the organization.

Draw up a budget for each resource to be used.

Define clear policies on how each resource is to be managed.

Define the standards for each resource in the company’s business system.

Institute an improvement plan for personal development.
